Band of Bloggers: Dec 2016

A full year of fragrant sharing with the Band of Bloggers rounds out 2016. Thank you for supporting the blogger community and taking the time to read and participate in our posts. We will be continuing the Band of Bloggers in 2017 but with some new writers and blogs to follow. Thank you Sunnee and Michelle for this past year of fellowship. We will miss you!

Did you have any favorite wax moments this year? A vendor who went above and beyond? A blend that knocked your socks off? Did you have a RAOK or wax community experience that left you warm and fuzzy? Please share some of your favorite wax moments of 2016 with us.

Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my blog (or what is left of it) this year as part of the Band of Bloggers! As you can see, I haven't made a wax purchase this year and I don't foresee any in the near future as I work to use up my stash more. So I thought it best to leave BoB.

I have to say though that BoB and interacting with Deb, Julie, Lauren and Liz over all the various social media channels is my favourite wax moment(s) this year. I love the glimpses into their lives in the different parts of the world and the chats we have (lots of spazzing over Fantastic Beasts right now). When I started out buying wax again three years ago, I wouldn't think that would have netted me the friendships I have found today so I am very grateful for it.

I hope you will continue to support Bob, and I can't wait to find out who are the new bloggers that come on board.

Happy 2016, we made it!

Band of Bloggers: Nov 2016

Sweet, lovely November. Halloween has come and gone (hope you didn't gorge on  candy!), the election is about to be over (it feels like it has been years!) and now, we're (technically) in the full swing of the holiday season! Thanksgiving will be here in just a few short weeks, and before you know it, it will be all Christmas all the time! It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

The Band of Bloggers question for November is:
What does your ideal Thanksgiving day and table look like? What are you eating? Any candles or tarts burning/melting in the room? Who fills your table? Are you stressed? What does your house look like? How's the weather? Give us the deets!

Thanksgiving is......about family!
I have never had a Thanksgiving but American popular culture has certainly fueled me a with a lot of fantasies about it. It would be a day where everyone gets together to cook and get the table ready. A big roasted turkey, with loads of gravy and mash potatoes! No candles because the scent of food would fill the house!

Band of Bloggers: Oct 2016

Aahhh, October.  We're full steam into fall now.  Leaves are reaching full color change.  Sweaters have been hauled out of storage.  Hot chocolates are being sipped again.  Pumpkins are out.  Halloween costumes need to be picked.  Christmas trees are showing up in stores.  Wait . . . what?!

Let's get back to the spooky task at hand.  The Band of Bloggers ghoulishly fun question for October is:
What do ghosts smell like?

Wow, I have never actually thought about this. But now that I am, I am thinking soft, delicate and fleeting. I think each will have their own unique scent to represent and identify themselves. Just like we do.

Band of Bloggers: Sept 2016

Welcome to our September 2016 Band of Bloggers! By now, most people should be back in school. The weather should be cooling down. Department store shelves are stocking up on fall and Halloween decorations. Countdowns are beginning for the end of year holidays.

This month we will share that special moment, activity, sound, smell, or all of the above that makes us feel like Autumn has arrived! We will also recommend our favorite places to shop for fall decor. Please feel free to share your own answers with us in the comments below!

That moment would be when the monsoon descends upon us! It comes in about late October, early November and it's pretty much my only indication in one-season Singapore that the rest of the world is going through a seasonal change. I am so jealous of people who get to experience the four seasons and the turning of leaves.

Band of Bloggers: August 2016

Welcome to the August 2016 edition of Band of Bloggers! Record temperatures across the globe have us feeling the heat and looking forward to Autumn, especially those delicious scents that make our homes feel warm and cozy.

This month we are sharing our favorite fall blend and also the vendor we would turn to first to order this blend.

In the non-wax related category, we're each recommending a book that we have read and loved.

Please join in and comment with your number one fall blend and definitely give us your best book recommendations!

My favourite fall scents would be anything apple and pumpkin. Yes, I do like pumpkin scents! They are creamy and sweet and comforting all rolled up in one scent. I am not adventurous with my pumpkin scents, just sweet and simple blends. They don't need much jazzing up. And apples, they are just my favourite scent of all-time. I can melt them anytime anyday. But for fall, apple strudels are the way to go.

For my book recommendation, I am going to go with Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Imagine a future world where Cinderella is a spunky mechanic who discovers she's really a Lunar princess. Oh and she's also an android. Cinder is the first book in the series The Lunar Chronicles, along the way, we also meet Scarlet (Little Red Riding Hood), Cress (Rapunzel) and Winter (Snow White), who forms an amazing girlsquad to the save world from an Evil Lunar Queen. The series is wonderfully detailed and Marissa Meyer takes the elements of these classic fairy tales and incorporates them so ingeniously into the plot! If you have read them, let me know, I would love to discuss it with you.

Band of Bloggers | July 2016

Summer 2016 is officially here for all of us in the Northern Hemisphere! Longer days, abundant sunshine, warm weather and fun activities will hopefully keep us busy and happy during the months ahead.

This month the Band Of Bloggers will be sharing their favorite summer memory or tradition as well as the one scent or blend that we most associate with summertime.
Enter your response here!

A recent summer memory are the times I spent during my university vacations running orientation camps and activities with my university club. We worked hard, played hard and cried hard s a team and it was one of the best time of my life! Because we were out in the open so much, we always slathered on lots of sunblock to prevent sunburn. So I guess the scent of sunblock lotion (+ sweat!) is what I most associate with summer!

Band of Bloggers | June

Welcome to the June edition of the Band of Bloggers!
We hope you have been enjoying this little monthly conversations of ours, as much as we enjoy having them. As always, we hope you will join in this month and chat with us.

I can't quite believe that we are officially at the half-way mark of 2016. I don't know about you but the past two months felt especially whirl-windy to me. In Singapore, June is the month to slow down and relax. All the schools are out and you can almost feel the country heave a collective sigh of relief. What are your summer plans, are you doing anywhere fun with family and friends? I am looking ahead to a month of packed weekends! A good friend of mine is getting married in early July and I am going to be a bridesmaid for the first time! We just did the dress fittings and we are getting deep into the final details for the big day!

Of course, with all the rushing around and the summer heat, hydration is going to be key to keeping healthy and glowing. I drink eight glasses of water on a regular basis (keeping a huge bottle on my desk helps) and my favourite drink is an ice(cold) lemon tea! Not surprisingly, I love tea-related scents as well. I find tea scents are such a subtle way to keep the room smelling fresh and feeling cool (does that make sense?).

And so with all that rambling, my question to you is what are your favourite drinks and drink scents? Do they correspond like mine?

Band of Bloggers | May

You know what they say, April shower and all that jazz! Happy May, and welcome to the Band of Bloggers! We hope this post finds you well, and we hope the first half of your 2016 has been treating you right. Please join us in this month's conversation below, we love hearing feedback from our readers!

I don't know about the rest of you, but where I live, it's warm almost all the time. We barely have a fall season, and it hardly ever rains. I hate the heat, so in essence, I am forced to live with something I don't particularly like!

My Band Of Bloggers question for May is: if you had to choose 1 or 2 scents you absolutely dread and you had to melt and smell them only for the rest of your life, what would they be and why? And also, why do you dislike them in the first place?

Oh boy, the heat the heat. I live in Singapore, a country just slightly above the equator, so daily temperatures are at least 30 degrees (85F) and with very humidity levels. We are constantly drenched in perspiration here. When our first Prime Minister, the late Lee Kuan Yew was asked what was the most influential innovation of the millenium, he replied, "the air-conditioner". Air-conditioners gave us comfortable and conducive environments to work!

Back onto Lauren's question itself, I would say Birthday Cake and Zucchini Bread. These are real popular scents in the community so I know I am definitely an outlier here. I don't dislike the scents itself per say but the heaviness and texture of it. With the type of heat around here, these are scents that are too heavy for me to melt. And rather than it being comforting, they are oppressive instead! However, like I said, the scents itself aren't disgusting to me so I would still melt them. At least my home will smell like a yummy bakery!

Wax Notes | Feb 2016 (1)

I meant to upload this post at the mid-point of the month as per usual but somehow I forgot and I thought I had. When I realised it wasn't done yet, I figured I would just do one post this month since I melted a little lesser in the second half, due to a bad week and that I will be in Hong Kong for a quick vacation by the time you read this!

Apple Pie (Sniff My Tarts)
Love this Apple Pie scent! It's spicier than sweet and I really enjoyed this one. Lucky for me, I have more of it! Medium scent throw, medium scent impact.

Sugar Milk (Ten Digit Creations) - Not pictured
Low performer. Barely any scent. But when I go near to my warmer, I do smell a sweet milk scent.

Miss Frosty (K's Kreation)
I still don't know what this scent is about. There is a slight eucalyptus note and maybe some pink sugar? Medium low throw, medium low scent impact.

Apple Colada (Rosegirls) - Not pictured
Fruity fun! Super high throw, medium scent impact.

Sugar Cookie Fruit Loops (Two Timing Tart)
The sugar cookie scent note really amps up the fruit loops and lends a touch of warmth to the blend. Very nice and perfect for a rainy, cool night. Medium scent throw, medium high scent impact.

Citrus Noel (Enchanted Candle Co.)
You can never go wrong with Enchanted's throw. I always put this on when we have company at home! The noel scent is very very sweet and the stronger note of the two. But I do detect a tinge of acidity from the citrus just slightly toning down the VBN. Very high throw, high scent impact.

Rainforest Sugarcane Type (Candles From The Keeping Room)
I am really liking this scent. It is such a well-blended scent of the various notes that all I can think of is fresh, sweet greens. Usually, green scents tend to be very strong but this is so subtle and soft. Medium throw, medium scent impact.

Pink Peppermint (Tiffany Candles)
A popular scent blend for a reason. Medium high throw, medium scent impact

Mandarin & Lime (Candles From The Keeping Room)
Surprisingly, this blend is a lot mellower than I thought. I wish it was a lot more acidic to live up to its name. Medium high throw, medium impact.

Blissful Blackberry Type (Candles From The Keeping Room)
I really like this scent. I learnt that it's a BBW dupe of sweet blackberry and soft florals. It's definitely more floral than fruity so if you don't like the former, this might not be what you think it is. But I really like, it's sweet and light. So despite high throw, it's not overpowering. Medium impact.

Band of Bloggers | Vol 3 / March 2016

Welcome to the third edition of the Band of Bloggers. March is upon us and visions of spring lull us out of the winter doldrums. This month's topic sprung forth from a conversation with Deb and reading Michelle's blog post recently about Tea & Cakes being a scent trend.

What scent trends have you noticed or have you fallen into so far this year? What do you predict being some trending scents? Scent trends can be in wax, candles, perfume, and/or body care.

Oops, I am a little late to post. But I just came back from a holiday in Hong Kong and I am still settling back into my normal routine. So scent trends! To be honest, I am not the best at scent trends because I don't check Facebook groups as often as I do anymore and my scent preferences are extremely biased towards fruity/fresh/herbal scents. But if I had to hazard a guess, I am going to predict that Sweet Lemon scents will be coming back in full force this spring/summer with a side of Airy/Ozonic scents thrown in! What do you think?

We would love to hear from you!

Haul | Pocket Full of Peonies (1)

I learned about new company Pocket Full of Peonies from Fragrance Obsessed, as I do for most things wax. It came at a time when I had wanted to branch out a little from the usual wax vendors so I put them on my list to try and kept a close watch on the company. When they announced they would be doing a Black Friday sale, I saw that as the perfect opportunity to make an order. I think it was a 20% discount.

I like this company so far. The owner, Jennifer Colony, has clearly tried her best to differentiate her products from others by having really unique shapes. Her scent blends include more unusual ones. At the moment, she has a website for RTS products and she opens up for custom orders fairly frequently. Her Facebook group is a good source of information for when customs are open and for flash sales.

Personally, I like my order. The TAT was fairly quick and everything was packaged really nicely. The cold sniff on her products are very strong. I look forward to melting them to find out if the hot throw will be just as good.

Laurel & Cranberry Unique combination of fresh fruit and berry notes along with the outdoor aroma of crisp pine and warm woodsy forest.
I really like this scent, it does have a Chrismassy feeling to this from the cranberry. So juicy and fruity!

Muscle Relaxer Spearmint, Eucalyptus and Wintergreen
Wow! This one is strong and the wintergreen scent is probably not for everyone. But I do like it especially for days when I need some help with my sinuses.

Peppermint Coconut Marshmallow
I really like this scent. It's blended really well, no one scent stands out too much but you can smell all of them too. This is really the surprise of this order for me.

Sweet on Paris The delights of an authentic Paris bakery with sweet notes of blackberry, lemon, and buttery vanilla.
A super sweet scent blackberry scent, I don't detect much lemon on cold sniff. I wouldn't think of a bakery when I sniff this scent though.

Tea & Cakes
This has been a pretty popular scent in the recent year and I can see why. It's pretty nice. I like that I can smell the lemon in the tea

These tart cups are actually 3.25oz in size. They surprised me with their size so I thought I would put it next to a regular 2oz for some visual comparison.

Macintosh Apple / Barbershop / Morrocan Mint
I was intrigued by the inclusion of the Barbershop scent note, and I have never seen this blend by anyone before. Plus it has apples! It's a really interesting blend, I like it!

Lemon Tart Lucky Charms
I bought this tart because I was interested to find out what another cereal scent smelled like. There is definitely some difference from Fruit Loops, although I can't really tell you why.

Rosewater Lemonade Zesty, fresh squeezed lemon, juicy strawberries and raspberry blossoms meet iced rose petals.
I think of rosewater and lemon when I sniff this blend. Very nice one!

Lavender Vanilla / Spearmint
Another sleepy time scent for the collection! Yums!

Jennifer gave me a whole bunch of mystery samples, packaged cutely in a separate bag. While these shapes are cute, I have no idea what they are and I am not a fan of that. Most of them smell sweet and bakery. I guess I will just throw them into the warmer from time to time.

Haul | Tiffany Candles (3)

Tiffany Candles is a go-to vendor for me. It seems to be open for customs frequently (if not, always) and when they plan an RTS restocks, Tiffany always asks for scent requests and blends to make, which is almost as good as making a custom order. I like their scents, they have both single notes and blends. I managed to catch an RTS restock in December and I made a small-ish order.

Pink Peppermint
I was quite excited when I saw this blend come up in a bag. This is a sleepy time blend and I always want more of this to keep in my stash. And I can never remember how much I have of it, so I am always hauling more. Wax addict problems, anyone?

Lavender Mac Apple
I knew I wanted this blend because this is a combination I have wanted to make myself but it's better when a vendor does it, don't you think? At the moment, the Mac Apple is the strongest with a hint of sweet lavender in the background. I hope the lavender gets going more when melting. But I don't think these would be a sleepy time type scent. These are the small 4oz scoopables. They are very cute and it's a good size to get blends you like but might not love so much to get huge quantities. I really like scoopables because I can control how much I use since I have different size warmers.

Rosemary Mint
Re-purchase. A favourite TC scent for sure. I am definitely interested to try Rosemary Mint scent blends in future.

Key Lime Pie Sweet, refreshing citrus aroma with a warm crust
I have actually never bought the Key Lime Pie scent before, and I actually do like this scent from a destash/haul that I bought quite early in my wax adventures. So I am super excited that I finally bought some of it.

Olive Leaves Fruity, fresh blend with pineapple, peach and leafy greens
I thought this might be a dupe of Lush's Olive Branch but it's not. But that's ok, I like this scent. The pineapple provides a very rounded, jelly-ish, fruity scent. I do smell the sweet peach note and a bit of the green and fresh scent.

Satsuma & Strawberry
I think this smells exactly like The Body Shop's satsuma and strawberry scents. The latter scent is stronger for sure.

Cotton Candy / Waffle Cone / Sweet Cream
The Sweet Cream is the stronger of the three scents, tempering the bakery note of the waffle cone and the sweetness of the cotton candy. Not my scent alleys but it's quite nice

Pink Panties Pink Sugar and Love Spell blend
I feel like this scent has developed more since the first time I sniffed it. And I am really liking it more even though I am not a fan of the individual Pink Sugar or Love Spell scent.

Stress Relief A beautifully balanced, calming blend of lavender, coriander and sage, touched with a hint of star anise.

Band of Bloggers | Vol 2 / February 2016

Welcome to the month of February! Congratulations, you survived the start of the New Year! If this is your first month joining us, Band of Bloggers is a revamped version of the Order of the Odor, where we do a monthly chat about all matters of waxy things and life. We hope you join us in the conversations!

This month's question is: Now that we have settled into the new year of 2016, we wanted to find out what are your goals for this year (life, blog, work, travel etc)?

I am not a person that typically sets annual goals or resolutions, but in the past year, I have been thinking more about character development and I decided to write down some tangibles. These are not goals that are meant to be achieved just for this year but for putting into practice, I hope it becomes a way of life.

1. Volunteer: I have been feeling for awhile that my time on the weekends can be better used and I have been feeling this urge to volunteer. But I have been looking for a cause and I think I finally found it in para-sports. I volunteered with Asean Para Games last December and it was such an inspiring experience working with all these para-athletes who have had to approach life differently than the rest of us. I hope to be able to do more for this community.

2. Be Kind: When I was in Australia two years ago, I noticed that every bus commuter greeted their drivers when they got up or alighted. This rarely happens in Singapore and I wanted to take this attitude back with me. Now, I do a simple "Hello" when I get on a bus and I smile and nod to the station controllers. I hope this simple act of kindness conveys my appreciation to them and, personally, I find myself feeling more cheerful too.

Wax Notes | Jan 2016 (2)

I am very happy that I kept up with my melts this second half of January. My stash is still a little bigger than I would like but I feel like I am finally beginning to make a bit of a dent. I don't think I will be buying anything anytime soon. I have more than enough to last me for a good while. At least till June.

Peanut Butter Cups (Orchid Lake)
This scent, while there is a tiny hint of cardboard, is really making me craving Reese's! Medium high scent throw, medium high scent impact.

Baked Wildberry Bread (K's Kreations)
A pleasant berry scent a tinge more sour than sweet. Medium high scent throw, medium low scent impact.

Cotton Candy Bliss / Strawberry Jam / Pina Colada (Sniff My Tarts)
The Pina Colada is the dominant scent in this chunk and it makes for a tropical holiday scent. The strawberry jam peeks out at times and I am enjoying it. Medium high scent throw, medium scent impact.

Rosie The Riveter (Vintage Chic Scents)
A just sweet enough caramel scent with a hint of coffee. I like this! More than I thought I would! High throw, medium high scent impact.

Blueberry Hill (Rosegirls)
I find this a fruity yet soothing and calming. It's lovely and I can see why it's a hot favourite among Rosegirls fans. High scent throw, medium scent impact

Honey Tree (Enchanted Candle Co.)
I actually thought I melted this scent before since I mixed it up in a lot of blends in my last Enchanted order but I haven't. This is heavenly honey scent, with a sweet strain of rose twining through it. I love love love it! High throw and medium high scent impact.

Violet Vixen (Ten Digit Creations)
Violet scents are usually very overpowering but with the addition of the lime, this one isn't as overboard as it could be. Very high throw, medium high scent impact.

Bare Naked Lady (K's Kreations)
More sweet than citrusy, this scent doesn't really make an impression though. Medium high scent throw, medium low impact.

Starburst (Beezy's)
Ocean Breeze (Smelly Buttons)

Wax Notes | Jan 2016 (1)

This two weeks have been an absolutely bonkers for me! I worked more 15-hour days and weekends that I would have liked. And it's not going to get any easier for the rest of the month. So despite all of that, I am surprised that I managed to melt as much as I did, which goes to show I should never use busyness as a excuse for not melting! How about you, how was your January?

Alice in Wonderland (Rosegirls)
I am not sure if I like this scent now that I am melting it. It's pleasant but it doesn't get me excited. Medium high scent throw, medium scent impact.

Surfer Girl (Vintage Chic Scents)
The strongest notes I am smelling is the coconut and the graham cracker crust. It's quite yummy and today is a rainy day which calls for a comforting scent. To be honest, whenever I pick up Surfer Girl, I keep thinking it's a fresh, marine scent from its name but then I sniff it and I put it down because of the graham cracker. But I really need to melt my VCS stash because I have had them for 1.5 years (omg, that long!). Medium scent throw, medium scent impact.

Creamy Fruit Slices (Tiffany Candles)
I wanted something energising for my first office melt of the year so I picked this one. It was just right, citrusy enough to jazz up my mood but mellow enough to ease back into the work week after a four-day weekend! High scent throw, medium scent impact.

Lavender Cream (Candles From The Keeping Room)
I was surprised by the initial candy sweetness that this scent pumped out first. I had left the room for a bath when I started the melt. But later it becomes a good ol' herbal lavender that really gets into your lungs when you take a deep breath. Really nice! Medium high throw, medium high scent impact.

Sea Salt & Rice Flower (Ten Digit Creations)
Really liked this scent, it was just the right amount of salty, fresh and sweet. It also wasn't as "heavy" a scent as I thought it would be. Medium throw, medium scent impact. Longevity of the scent was shorter than I expected from a TDC tart.

Lazy Summer Days (Vintage Chic Scents)
I am rather surprised at the performance of this VCS wax, the power of it was much weaker than I had come to expect of VCS. I could smell very little of this scent, The most of it being a sweet honeydew. Low throw, medium scent impact. [Oops, labelled the picture wrongly! Sunny Days is an RG scent!]

Sea Berry (Ten Digit Creations)
A fairly nondescript marine scent. I thought the berries scent note would be stronger and mix with the marine note but it's not really happening. I can see why this scent is leaving the TDC line-up. Medium high throw, medium high scent impact. (EDIT: On second melt, the sweet berry scent is coming through more strongly and it's really a very nice scent.)

Bubblegum Ice Cream (Sassy Girl Aroma)
I didn't detect any bubblegum scent, maybe because this piece of wax is pretty old? I remember thinking that it sounds like fruit loops though which is kind of weird. Lol! Medium throw, low scent impact.

Spring in Hundred Acre Woods (Enchanted)
Over The Moon (Rosegirls)
Fresh Flowers (Smelly Buttons)

Band of Bloggers | Vol 1 / January 2016

Welcome to the revamped version of Order of the Odor.  We've reorganized and are expanding our monthly topics beyond just all things smelly.  We hope you visit each member's blog to see their contribution each month, and we hope you participate too by leaving your own answers in the comments.

To kick off a new year and a new group effort, we asked . . .
What vendor (wax or anything) are you MOST excited to order from this year?

This year, while I intend to severely limit my purchase of wax in favour of a determined push to pare down my current stash, this hasn't stopped me from keeping my eye on a few vendors! Wax addict alert! (What, you don't think like that? Why are you reading this! JK!)

I am most interested to purchase from Sugar & Spice Gourmet Soy, Haley's Heavenly Scents and Candles by Victoria. These are all veteran companies that have stood the test of time and trends in the wax community. I have had them on list of to-buys for ages but I kept pushing them back in favour of other openings because I knew they would always be there.

CBV will likely be the first purchase because of their annual Super Bowl Sale (if they run it again) which almost always have a great discount. The timing of the sale (Feb) is a little earlier that I would like but this just gives me a good incentive to keep melting!

What about you, what vendors do you intend to order from this year? I would love to know! I haven't had my pulse on the wax world for the last six months or so, are there any new, up and coming vendors I should look into? Tell me!

Don't forgot to visit the rest of the Band of Bloggers to find out their answers to this question. Waxy conversations are fun!

Wax Notes | Nov & Dec 2015

Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas!
Happy Thanksgiving!

All my holidays greetings to you that I missed earlier because I have pretty much lost my blogging and melting mojo. It is a little hard to blog when there is nothing to blog about. I will be back for a little bit in the next few weeks because I broke my NO-BUY during the Black Friday for Pocket Full of Peonies (a newish vendor) and Tiffany Candles (couldn't resist a restock). So yay, hauls!

Green Tea & Willow (Ten Digit Creations)
If the colour green had a scent, I would this would be it. It smells fresh and sweet in a natural way. This is a scent for spring or if you are in the mood for spring!

Annette's Secret Sangria (K's Kreations)

Blackberry Cotton Candy Wafflecone (Rosegirls)

Clementine Lavender (CFTKR)
I thought it would be a softer scent but it's rather sharp and sometimes I think ginger when I get a sniff. Medium throw, medium scent impact.

Twisted Lemon (Ten Digit Creations) - Not Pictured
A more acidic lemon scent, it energises me when I sniff this. Medium throw, medium scent impact.

Peppermint Meringue (Ten Digit Creations) - Not Pictured
Heavier on the meringue than the peppermint. Medium high throw, medium scent impact. Surprisingly this tart lost its scent really quickly. Generally, TDC lasts 2-3 melts for me.

Singing in the Rain (Rosegirls)
You know what, I don't think I care what is really in the blend. All I care about is that it's lovely and I never want to be out of it!

Bailey's in Bed (Crabby Candle Co.)
Creamy and just sweet enough to qualify this as bakery, this is one of the few bakery type scents that I can tolerate. It's not outright boozy but it does suggest that this is an adult scent. Medium scent throw, medium scent impact.

Christmas Cookies (Tiffany Candles)

Lavender (Tiffany Candles) - Not Pictured
I really loved this rendition of Lavender by Tiffany Candles. It's very different from other Lavender scents I have tried so far. Much more herbal, less sweet. Medium scent impact, medium high scent throw.

Vanilla Nutmeg (Thirty Street Crafts)
I was looking for something not-bright and not-fruity and I reached for this one. The vanilla is just sweet enough to temper the nutmeg down to mellow. Beautiful this one. High scent impact, medium high scent throw. This scent really lingers in your space and it lasts forever. I think I must have melted it 4 times at least and the scent barely weakened!

Gabi's Melonade Stand (Enchanted Candle Company)
Loving this scent. It's much more mellow a lemonade scent than you would think and I think it's due to the sweetness of the watermelon. Lovely! So sad I won't be able to get more. High scent throw, high scent impact.

Delicate Daisy (Rosegirls)
This scent was ridiculously perfume-y sweet that I had to switch off my warmer several times in between to breath a little. Definitely not for me. Medium throw, medium impact.

Over The Moon (Rosegirls)
An unmemorable scent, I think it was sweet.

Avocado & Sea Salt (Ten Digit Creations)
Don't let the name of the scent scare you away, this is primarily a marine-based scent with hints of sweetness coming through at times (the scent notes includes grapefruit and rose). I feel that the avocado helps to mellow the sharpness that marine scents can get. High scent throw, medium scent impact.
